In 2013, ABC renewed the show for a fifth season.[56]New York Giants owner Steve Tisch and John Paul Mitchell Systems co-founder John Paul DeJoria made guest appearances, both replacing Robert Herjavec.[57] On July 16, ABC announced that Season 5 will premiere on September 20 at 9pm EST.[58] In October 2013, ABC ordered an additional two episodes to the season.
